This story happened when I was six. I was on the floor reading when a little gust of wind came from nowhere and literally froze my feet. A few seconds later, a little Jack Russell terrier came trotting into full view. I naively thought that mum and dad were surprising me with a puppy. I grabbed hold to hug him when my mum came in and said, "Stop fooling around and come get your dinner." At that second, the little dog vanished. This has happened many times, and I still patted the dog whenever it came. One time it happened when I was in the bathroom with a tummy-ache. A man followed the puppy and said, "You're her friend. She really does like you." Then he motioned for the dog to follow, and the both vanished. I tried to run after them, but of course, there was nothing to run after.
