It was in the mid 1930's. My mother and her 2 sisters were outside in a big open field.  The field was located quite a way from their home.  Virgie (My Mother) went off about 20 steps from her sisters when she glanced down to discover a half used bottle of whiskey. She called her sisters over. Because they never tried whiskey before she and her 2 sisters decided to take a drink.  Virgie began to take the first drink.  Before the top of the bottle could even make contact with her lips she noticed something in the sky.  It wasn't way up in the sky but it was at least 10 feet off the ground.  She described it as a huge white figure dashing toward them at full speed. As the fear kicked in on all three of them Virgie threw down the bottle and it shattered.  As soon as that occurred the figure disappeared into a tree.  She believes that the whiskey was poisoned or something.  She believes that she was not supposed to drink it and a spirit of some sort was warning her of the mistake she was about to make.  The figure was never seen again…
