When my sister told me that there was a haunted house in her new neighborhood, I begged her to take me there. We drove by, and I could tell from the road that this was a spooky place. The shutters were falling off, windows were broken, paint chipped; the house looked neglected. There were no cars around, and the property was obviously abandoned. We stood outside looking for a while and headed back towards to the car. I turned for one last look and noticed that a light had come on upstairs. A little girl peered out the window at us. The light then quickly went off. My sister was also looking and said that she saw a small boy in the first floor window. A couple of months later, I went back to that house, and the front door was knocked off its hinges. I saw a bright white blur inside, right at the door. I blinked, and then it was gone.
