When I was little, my dad had taken my mom, my 2 brothers and I out camping in the woods. It was a nice night out, and we knew the woods pretty well. On our way there we had crossed a set of railroad tracks in order to get to our destination. Once we were there, we set everything up and we were having a good time. Suddenly it started storming. Odd, considering it was a nice night out. We started packing up to go home when out of no where we see a lantern walking toward us. We shined a flashlight towards the lantern but we saw nobody. We even yelled to the mysterious floating lantern to see if someone may have needed our help. No response. As it came closer and my family and I grew more scared we muttered "what the hell is that?" Just then the lantern disappeared. We found this strange and left right away. Going back the same way we came (across the railroad tracks), there was part of a train (maybe 3 or 4 cars) dead on the tracks. No lights, no engine running, nothing! And it defiantly was not there when we came. So, random broken down train cars on the railroad tracks at 2 AM, and a mysterious floating lantern that soon disappears into the night? Ha. I'd say that's pretty freaky. Anonymous
