My husband and I just arrived home late at night. We had just parked the car and we were about to enter the house when I notice a man standing by our stairs at the back of our house. I called my husband and I walked toward the man but my husband called me and said not to go near him because he might be an armed robber. So I moved back. When the moon showed its face and shined on the man, we were astounded to see that the man had no head. I ran inside the house with my husband. It’s a good thing our children were tucked up in bed. In the morning we told my mother about what happened and my mom said that during World War II our place was a dumping site for the Japanese soldiers who died. But when the war was over the Japanese government tried to recover the remains of the dead soldiers, but in their hastiness they were not able to recover all of their remains. Till this day we believe that the headless man roaming our yard is a Japanese soldier who was left behind. My neighbors even see him, especially during the full moon. Peace, Baguio
