Hide & Seek Ain't Always So Fun

This actually happened to a friend of mine in her dad’s house. I will not call anybody by their real names to keep their identity a secret. One day my friend "Ann" and her two younger cousins "Jane" and "Paul" were playing at Ann’s dad’s house. They decided to play hide and seek to pass the time. Well it was Ann’s turn to seek so Jane and Paul went to find a place to hide. (Next to Ann’s dads room is an empty bedroom which they call the "old lady's room" for before they bought the house an old women had lived there, stayed in that room, and died there.) Well Paul not knowing of the stories decided to hide in the closet in the old lady's room. Mind you that the closet door does not have a little latch so there no way that the door can stay closed. Well after Ann counted she went to go look for her cousins, she found Jane first. Then they began looking for Paul together and they could not find him anywhere. So finally they checked in the old lady's room and they heard someone crying from inside the closet they called Paul’s name and he answered with a frightened voice saying he was in there and he couldn’t get out. Ann tried pulling on the door but the door would not budge!! Remember there is no latch on the door so now way no matter what this door is always open unless someone closes it and even than it’s not really closed. Both Ann and Jane pulled while Paul pushed from inside but the door would not budge an inch!! Finally about ten minutes after the ordeal started the door finally opened and Paul came out crying and screaming. Ann asked him what happened, Paul said he wasn’t sure that after being in the closet for a minute or so the little light that he had just all of a sudden went out and that the door had become "stuck". No one knows sure what happened that day all we know is that when you play hide and seek you may want to watch where you hide!
