My parents had just gone into town and my brothers were at their friend's house, so I was home alone. As I was walking into my bedroom the phone rang. It was so sudden, it scared me and I jumped back against the wall. I answered the phone and said, "Hi mom!", but a voice said, "This is not your mommy".

I was a little scared, the voice on the phone was deep, and I thought it was a prank call. I didn't say anything else, so the voice on the phone said, "Puzzle", and hung up. I rolled my eyes and started walking back to my room, but I noticed a box. I walked over and opened it.

It was a puzzle.

So I took it to my room and started to put it together and I tried to forget about the phone call. As I got the puzzle about halfway done I almost screamed because I was so scared at what I saw: In the puzzle I saw myself, in my room, lying on my bed, putting a puzzle together, exactly what I was doing right now! But the scary part was that in the puzzle there was a man looking through my window at me. He was tall and he had a knife in his hand.

I was so scared, slowly I looked up at my window and there he was: The man in the puzzle with a knife in his hand! Then he just disappeared and I never saw him again.

I still have that puzzle, but I won't look at it; I'm too scared.
