My friend has always been going on about how her house is haunted and how she hates living there. I spent a lot of time there as well and believed it. I would hear footsteps around me in the evening, and I often lost things that I knew I put down in one place. Things got stranger when my best friend started talking about the same thing. He said that his hat went missing. We searched high and low, but it truly had vanished. A week later, it reappeared, sitting on the TV! Another time, I was house-sitting when I heard a crash in the hallway. I thought it was the cat, but when I looked in that direction, I saw a figure by the door. I shut the door and waited in terror until my friend returned. She explained that she had seen the same person several times. The figure never revealed itself to me again, but things still go missing. Right now, we're hunting for my wallet!
