I can feel spirits. Not just a cold sensation like most people, I can hear their thoughts and feel their feelings. In Bartonville, Illinois there is an abandoned building that was an insane asylum years ago. The people forced to finish their lives there were victims of cruel experiments. The worst cases involved lobotomies. The property now sits deserted; no one will even go into it. Several years ago, I went to visit my grandpa, who lives on the other side of town. He decided it would be "fun" to drive me past the place. We got within a block, and I felt that we were not welcome. Then, I started to feel what these spirits felt: the pain of the experiments, and the mindlessness after the lobotomies. We arrived at the front of the building, and I looked up into one of the windows. A poor soul looked back at me with an indescribable misery. His energy was very hostile. Here is some more background information: A few years ago, on Halloween, a camera crew videoed different rooms. A shadow is clearly seen sitting at a desk, then it gets up, walks across the room, looks directly at the camera and disappears. One of the last places filmed was right out side of the lobotomy room. A man was taped rocking back and forth on a chair. No one is sure, but it is believed that he died not knowing what else to do.
